U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a new warning to Iran, saying that the United States is prepared to carry out additional military action if necessary.
Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said Washington would not hesitate to respond with force, stressing that the U.S. has the right to take military measures against Tehran.
“We will attack them, and we will attack them very hard,” the president said, confirming that such action could include further bombing operations.
Trump also repeated his accusation that Iran was responsible for bringing down a U.S. Apache helicopter with a drone near the coast of Oman, adding that American forces had already launched significant strikes and were ready to act again.
Alongside his military warnings, Trump once again urged Tehran to sign the proposed agreement with the United States, arguing that the deal would prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons in the future.
He said the agreement was essentially finalized, but that the Iranian side continued to delay making a final decision.
Trump’s remarks come amid rising tensions between Washington and Tehran, further fueling concerns about a possible escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
