The attack occurred around 6:00 p.m. near the iconic Space Needle, triggering widespread panic among thousands of attendees who scrambled for shelter or fled the 74-acre park complex. Emergency crews treated several victims on site before transporting the wounded to Harborview Medical Center. In the immediate aftermath, officials suspended the Seattle Center Monorail and temporarily closed nearby attractions.
