Prince Harry made a surprise appearance at Game 5 of the NBA Finals series in San Antonio, drawing attention from both fans and the media, and notably without his wife Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry was spotted inside the arena watching the matchup between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks. Although he did not sit in the front rows courtside, he was located just a few rows behind the VIP section and appeared to be in high spirits throughout the game.
According to American media, Harry was invited by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, with whom he spent part of the evening. His presence is also linked to his trip to Texas for the Warrior Games – a sporting event for military veterans and members of the armed forces recovering from injuries.
He attended the game accompanied by American military veteran J.P. Lane, and cameras captured him multiple times alongside representatives of the NBA organization.
The Finals ended with a victory for the New York Knicks, who won their first championship in over 50 years with a 94–90 score, making the event even more historic.
This year’s NBA Finals attracted numerous world-famous celebrities, including entertainment figures such as Taylor Swift, Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Ben Stiller, Spike Lee, and Sydney Sweeney, turning the series into a global media spectacle.
At the same time, while Harry was in the United States, the traditional “Trooping the Colour” ceremony took place in London, attended by members of the British royal family, including King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate.
Meghan Markle was not present with her husband on this occasion, but she remained in the public spotlight promoting her lifestyle brand “As Ever”, while Prince Harry continues his work related to veterans and preparations for upcoming editions of the Invictus Games.
