Taylor Swift once again captured the public’s attention, this time at the premiere of Toy Story 5 in Los Angeles, where she impressed not only with her performance but also with her fashion choices.
The singer made a surprise appearance on the red carpet on Tuesday evening before performing an acoustic version of her new song, I Knew It, I Knew You, featured on the sequel’s soundtrack. During the performance, she was joined by legendary composer Randy Newman for a duet.
Before taking the stage, Swift changed outfits, swapping her off-the-shoulder Erdem mini dress for a striking yellow floral gown by Oscar de la Renta. Her longtime stylist, Joseph Cassell, completed the look with a matching yellow pendant necklace.
Although many assumed the necklace featured an expensive yellow diamond or citrine gemstone, it was later revealed to be the Nadri Macaron Yellow Cushion CZ Pendant, adorned with a yellow cushion-cut cubic zirconia stone. According to Page Six, the piece costs just $80.
Despite owning an impressive collection of luxury jewelry from brands such as Cartier, Tiffany & Co., and Foundrae, Swift is known for incorporating more affordable accessories into her wardrobe. Among her treasured possessions are an engagement ring designed by Kindred Lubeck and gifted by Travis Kelce, as well as opals that once belonged to Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor.
This is not the first time Swift has spotlighted smaller jewelry brands. She has previously been seen wearing pieces from Melinda Maria, Bonbonwhims, Vitaly, Awe Inspired, and Mazin Jewels. Designer Lily Nizam has expressed her appreciation for Swift’s continued support of independent labels and her willingness to wear their creations at high-profile events.
With this latest appearance, Taylor Swift once again proved that standout style does not always come with a hefty price tag and that thoughtfully chosen accessories can make a lasting impression regardless of their cost.
