American entrepreneur Elon Musk, according to the latest estimates following SpaceX’s record-breaking initial public offering (IPO), has become the first person in the world whose wealth has surpassed the $1.1 trillion mark.

According to Reuters, SpaceX raised $75 billion through the largest IPO in history, with the company being valued at approximately $1.77 trillion. This market valuation significantly increased Musk’s stake in the company, which is now estimated at around $866 billion.

As a result of this surge, Musk’s total net worth has exceeded $1.1 trillion, marking a historic milestone in modern economics.

For comparison, according to the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires list dated June 11, Google co-founder Larry Page has a fortune of approximately $290.9 billion, while Sergey Brin holds $268.3 billion. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is estimated at $248.4 billion, and Larry Ellison at $247.8 billion.

This means Musk’s wealth is greater than the combined fortunes of Page, Brin, Bezos, and Ellison, which total approximately $1.055 trillion.

Musk also surpasses other major figures in global business. His wealth is higher than the combined net worth of Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Bernard Arnault, and Warren Buffett, who together hold around $742.8 billion.

The gap becomes even more pronounced when compared with the second-richest person on the list. With an estimated $1.1 trillion, Musk would be nearly four times wealthier than Larry Page and more than four times wealthier than Jeff Bezos.

Although Tesla has long been the main driver of Musk’s wealth, this time SpaceX plays the key role. Following the record IPO, the company has become one of the most valuable in the world, surpassing major global corporations in market capitalization, including Meta, Berkshire Hathaway, and JPMorgan Chase.

However, experts note that most of Musk’s fortune is tied to company shares and ownership stakes, meaning his net worth can fluctuate significantly depending on financial market movements.

Nevertheless, if these estimates are confirmed, Elon Musk will go down in history as the first person ever to surpass the $1 trillion threshold in personal wealth.
