U.S. Vice President JD Vance has said that the final decision on a potential presidential candidacy in 2028 will be made after the congressional elections, following a discussion with his wife, Usha Vance.
In an interview with American media, Vance emphasized that he does not want to make premature decisions about his political future and that such matters are considered strictly within the family.
He noted that discussions with his wife will be crucial in assessing his next steps, adding that he is currently focused on his ongoing responsibilities in the administration.
Vance, who is considered one of the potential Republican candidates for the 2028 election, stated that he expects support from former President Donald Trump, regardless of the decision he ultimately makes.
Political circles in the United States have long speculated about his possible entry into the presidential race, but Vance himself has repeatedly stressed that he does not want to rush his decision.
