Two people were killed, including a three-year-old child, and five others, were injured after a Ukrainian attack on the Russian-controlled Crimean peninsula, according to the Russian-installed governor, Sergei Aksyonov. The attack on the peninsula was part of a wider wave of long-range air strikes overnight targeting infrastructure in multiple regions.

In the Ulyanovsk region east of Moscow, Ukrainian drones struck an energy facility, igniting a fire, while local officials in the Voronezh region reported damage to civilian sites and additional injuries. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed its air defense units intercepted and downed 223 Ukrainian drones overnight as Kyiv continues to target energy and logistics facilities supporting Russian operations.
