Charli xcx is giving fans a first listen to “Music, Fashion, Film” before the album hits streaming, turning the rollout into a three-day run of theater events across 25 cities.

The listening sessions are set for July 9 to 11 in independent theaters across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil and Japan. The announced cities include New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Berlin, Toronto, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Tokyo.

The events arrive ahead of Charli’s seventh studio album, which is due July 24. She first announced the project on June 1 with a cover image featuring John Cale, Marc Jacobs and Martin Scorsese, each standing in for one part of the album’s title.

Charli wrote on Instagram that “Music, Fashion, Film” would arrive July 24 and described it as “11 songs, 30 minutes, 5 seconds.”

Fans have already heard pieces of the record. Charli has released “Rock Music,” “Wink Wink” and “SS26,” with the album title pulled from lyrics in “SS26.” The line folds the new era’s club-pop swagger into a darker runway image, fitting the album’s fashion-world framing.

The listening sessions also come after Charli announced a 12-date North American arena tour last month. That run is scheduled to begin Sept. 11 in Philadelphia, with two-night stops at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and Los Angeles’ Kia Forum. Underscores is set to open all dates.
