Global investment in natural gas is expected to exceed $330 billion this year, the highest level in more than a decade.
According to the International Energy Agency, governments and energy companies are pouring money into LNG infrastructure, export terminals and gas supply chains as they attempt to reduce dependence on vulnerable energy routes and improve energy resilience.
The trend represents a major shift in the energy industry. While renewables continue growing rapidly, natural gas is increasingly being viewed as a strategic bridge fuel in an era of geopolitical uncertainty.
