Klopp currently serves as the head of global soccer for the Red Bull Group, but his contractual agreement features a specialized exit clause specifically dedicated to the national team. While Julian Nagelsmann originally assumed the managerial position in September 2023 and guided the country to the Euro 2024 quarter-finals, the DFB will now begin formal recruitment proceedings immediately to secure a permanent replacement.
